There’s something very special about photographing a family in the comfort of their own home. You’re able to catch a glimpse of their routines and activities, and capture snapshots of their every day life. I absolutely love these types of shoots and, in the winter month when the New England weather is unpredictable, I tend to do a lot of them. I even travelled to DC for a session at the end of last year!

My first in home session this year was with the Campinell family in Greenwich, CT. I met Lacey and Mark through a mutual friend a few years back when they both still lived in the city. They reached out to me shortly before the birth of their second son, and we were able to set up a weekend session. I had such an amazing time documenting their new life in Connecticut as a family of four. Carter, their playful two-year-old son was my helper/assistant for most of the morning, and together we were able to capture some of Cole’s sweet new baby moments.
